The Crestron CP4-R is a high-performance, rack-mountable control processor designed exclusively for Crestron Home® OS. It offers advanced processing power for handling extensive home automation, home theater, multiroom video, and MDU (multidwelling unit) applications. The CP4-R is equipped with a 4-Series™ multicore CPU that delivers exceptional speed and performance.

This control processor integrates seamlessly with a wide array of devices including audio, video, lighting, motorized shades, thermostats, and security systems. Native support for BACnet™ communication protocol allows for easy integration with third-party building management systems over Ethernet.

Crestron Home® provides a sophisticated and user-friendly interface, with features such as support for multiple homes, favorites, custom access, and room image customizations. The CP4-R can be upgraded from Crestron Pyng® OS 2 to Crestron Home OS via firmware upgrade.
