Lutron RadioRA 3
Lutron RadioRA 3 is the next-generation wireless lighting and shading control system for Irish homes. Built on Lutron's proprietary Clear Connect RF, RadioRA 3 components communicate wirelessly and independently of Wi-Fi, so the lights and blinds just work. Start with one key room, expand over time, and end up with a single system controlling up to 200 devices and 100 keypads, including Lutron motorised blinds, occupancy sensors and third-party smart home brands.
Formwave is a Dublin-based Lutron specialist installer serving residential clients across Ireland. We design, supply, programme and commission RadioRA 3 systems end to end, from a single-room retrofit to whole-home projects.
Why RadioRA 3
- Wireless and Wi-Fi independent. Clear Connect RF keeps lighting and shades running even when the home network is down.
- PoE-powered processor. Single Cat cable carries power and network to the heart of the system.
- Customisable Vierti keypads. Mix and match chassis, button kits and faceplates to fit any interior.
- Signature Metals faceplates. Aged brass, aged bronze, brushed brass, satin nickel and bright chrome, hand-finished to match high-end interiors.
- Hybrid LED+ dimming. Superior dimming of LED and other modern loads with no phase-selection guesswork.
- Backwards compatible with existing Lutron Pico, occupancy sensors, 16A relay and 0-10V controller.
- Smart home and voice control. Works with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Control4, Crestron, Savant, Sonos, Bang & Olufsen, Ring, Honeywell Home and more.

RadioRA 3's wireless architecture means a system can start in a single key room, like a kitchen or living room, and grow into a whole-home solution without disruptive rewiring. Add hybrid dimmers, keypads, Lutron motorised blinds and occupancy sensors as needs evolve.
