We are based in Dublin and we work on residential projects across Ireland, from a single well-considered room to a whole house.
We design it, and then we install it
Plenty of companies will sell you the equipment. Fewer will take responsibility for the result.
We design the system, document it properly, wire it, programme it and commission it. Then we stay with it. When a client calls in year five, they get the people who built it.

Formerly Logic AV
We traded as Logic AV until early 2020, when we rebranded to Formwave to reflect where the work had gone. What began as audio visual had become lighting, control and integration, and the name no longer described the job.
Our sister company HiFiHut remains the specialist audio retail side of the business, for people buying and setting up their own equipment. Formwave is for systems designed and installed as one.

Who you will be dealing with
We are a small team, and that is deliberate. The person who designs your system is the person who commissions it.
- Design and specification, so the technology is thought through before anything is bought.
- Installation, programming and commissioning, all in house.
- Coordination and scheduling, so a project does not stall waiting on someone else.
- Aftercare, for the life of the system.

We are specialists rather than generalists. We hold authorisation and training on the systems we install, which is what lets us programme and support them ourselves instead of subcontracting it.
- Lutron, for lighting control and motorised shading.
- Crestron, for lighting, control and whole-home integration.
- Control4, for whole-home automation.
- Ubiquiti, for networking.
Alongside those we supply and install the audio and video brands the systems are built around, including Bowers and Wilkins, Sonos, DALI, Arcam, Lyngdorf and Sony.
