Backlit Tactile Buttons
Backlit tactile buttons provide access to TV, music, on-screen menus, and media browsing. The 5-way thumbpad affords directional navigation and changes colors in four-color mode for access to green, blue, red, and yellow option buttons. Each button is fully programmable for precise and predictable behavior, whether adjusting audio volume, changing channels, or operating a DVR or DVD player.
Touch Screen with Smart Graphics Technology
The TSR-310 features a high-resolution, high-contrast capacitive touch screen for customizable control over home or workplace systems. Crestron Smart Graphics® technology delivers an engaging touch screen experience with gesture-driven controls, kinetic effects, animated feedback, rich metadata, embedded apps, widgets, and personalized themes.
Performance UI for Crestron Home
Performance UI provides a preprogrammed graphical interface for controlling a Crestron Home system. It allows users to control media, lighting, shades, and quick actions directly from the remote. Scrolling menus display channel presets and media titles, and user profiles offer custom control over the media system, including saving favorites for easy access.
Voice Recognition
Built-in voice recognition allows the TSR-310 to execute spoken commands to control devices, change channels, adjust lighting, lower shades, lock doors, or arm the security system. Simply press the voice button and speak a command for the remote to perform the action.
Movement Sensor
An accelerometer wakes the TSR-310 when picked up, ensuring it is always ready for use. The movement sensor also turns on the button backlight if the room is dark and may wake the touch screen display if configured.
Instant-Waking Technology
The TSR-310 wakes instantly at the press of a button and transmits the button press within milliseconds. Actions like muting audio, pausing video, or changing channels can be executed even when the remote is left on an armrest or in its charging dock.
Autobrightness Control
The TSR-310 includes a built-in light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the touch screen display and button backlight according to the ambient light level, ensuring optimal visibility in any lighting condition.
Advanced Wi-Fi Wireless Performance
Crestron enhanced Wi-Fi performance delivers fast, dependable wireless communications with a 50 ft (15 m) omnidirectional range. The TSR-310 supports 802.11 a, b, g, and n protocols for reliable connectivity in any RF environment. It also supports handoff between multiple wireless access points, ensuring continuous communication without interruption.
Extended Battery Life
The TSR-310 conserves power by entering sleep mode when not in use, maintaining a low-level connection to the wireless access point for instant response upon waking. It can operate continuously for 5.5 hours between charges. A replacement battery pack (TSR-310-BTP) is also available.
Table Dock Charger
The included TSR-310-DS table dock provides charging for the TSR-310 while occupying minimal space. The remote remains upright and fully operational while charging. Additional docks can be ordered separately.
