HDBaseT® and DigitalMedia 8G+® Compatibility
The DM-TX-201-C is fully compatible with HDBaseT® standards, ensuring seamless integration with other HDBaseT certified devices. The transmitter can connect directly to HDBaseT-compliant displays or other devices, eliminating the need for additional DM receivers. It also supports Crestron’s DigitalMedia 8G+® technology, allowing for extended transmission distances of up to 330 ft (100 m) over a single CAT type cable.
Multimedia Interface and AV Switching
This transmitter features a 2x1 AV switcher with auto-switching capabilities, allowing for quick and reliable switching between HDMI and VGA inputs. The HDMI input supports a wide range of digital AV sources, including mobile devices, computers, and AV equipment, while the VGA input accommodates analog video signals up to WUXGA (1920x1200). The transmitter also includes a 3.5mm stereo audio input for analog audio sources, which can be used independently or with the VGA video input.
Local HDMI Output and USB Signal Extension
The DM-TX-201-C provides a local HDMI output, enabling the pass-through of selected video and audio signals to a nearby display or sound system. Additionally, the transmitter supports USB signal extension, allowing a USB keyboard and mouse to control a connected computer remotely. This feature is particularly useful in applications where the computer is located far from the user.
LAN Connectivity and CEC Device Control
Integrated LAN connectivity allows the DM-TX-201-C to be connected to a local network, providing high-speed Ethernet access for connected devices. The transmitter also supports CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) over HDMI, enabling control of connected source devices directly through the HDMI connection, without the need for additional control wires or IR emitters.
Compact and Versatile Design
Designed for flexible installation, the DM-TX-201-C features a compact, surface-mountable design that can be discreetly installed beneath a conference table, inside a lectern, or within an equipment rack. It can be powered via Power over DigitalMedia (PoDM) or an optional power pack, providing a clean and efficient one-cable installation.
The DM-TX-201-C is a comprehensive solution for integrating and transmitting AV signals in professional environments, offering reliable performance, advanced features, and easy installation in a compact form factor.
