The Lutron HomeWorks QS Wireless Sensor Module (QSM) is a ceiling-mounted device designed to integrate Lutron wireless and wired sensors with HomeWorks QS systems through the wired QS Link. This module enhances the flexibility and scalability of your lighting control system, allowing seamless communication with up to 10 Radio Powr Savr occupancy/vacancy sensors and 10 Pico wireless controls, as well as up to four Lutron wired occupancy sensors.

Mounting and Installation

  • Mount QSM units in the center of non-metal ceiling tile or drywall for optimal wireless range
  • Avoid mounting near metal objects to prevent RF range reduction
  • Models available for ceiling mount and junction box ceiling mount
  • Dimensions: Ceiling thickness range for -C models: Min: 0.30 in (7.62 mm) to Max: 1.20 in (30.48 mm)

Wiring

  • Use Lutron cable GRX-CBL-346S (standard) or GRX-PCBL-346S (plenum)
  • Maximum wired input wire length: 150 ft (46 m) per input
