The Crestron GLS-PART-CN is a sleek, surface-mount partition sensor designed for use in hospitality environments. Utilizing the dependable Cresnet® wired network for power and communications, this sensor uses an adjustable infrared (IR) beam to sense the position of movable partitions within a space. With a sensing distance of up to four feet, the GLS-PART-CN offers optimized sensing accuracy and versatility, making it an ideal solution for managing divisible room environments.

Cresnet® Communication

The GLS-PART-CN uses the reliable Cresnet wired network for communication between devices. Cresnet provides a simple solution for configuring and wiring sensors as part of any complete Crestron system. It serves as the communications backbone for Crestron lighting dimmers, keypads, shades, thermostats, and other devices, offering data communications and 24VDC power for all devices on the network.

Versatile Installation

The GLS-PART-CN features a white finish and mounts directly into finished ceilings or installs into a 1-gang, 3-1/2 inch deep electrical box for drop tile ceilings. It fits a decorator-style faceplate (sold separately) to match the color of the room. Only about 20 mm of the sensor is visible after installation, making it an unobtrusive addition to any space.

Digital Output

This versatile sensor delivers an additional output on the terminal block, providing either a 24 Volt, 10 mA output or a closure to ground. This feature offers an alternate method of integration with a Crestron Control System® or other systems, perfect for connection with a Versiport or digital input port.
