The MC4-R-I is a perfect replacement for a PYNG-HUB processor when upgrading a smaller system from Crestron Pyng® OS to Crestron Home. Built-In Crestron Home OS unlocks the full potential of a smart home, offering features such as support for multiple homes, favorites, custom access, and room image customizations.
Through a full complement of onboard control ports, the MC4-R-I integrates with various devices, including audio, video, lighting, motorized shades, thermostats, door locks, sensors, and security systems. It also features a built-in infiNET EX® wireless gateway for pairing wireless devices directly to the control system.
System expansion is facilitated by the CEN-IO series of wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi® network I/O extenders, which provide additional COM, digital input, IR, or relay ports for integration with third-party equipment. Native support for the BACnet™ communication protocol allows direct interfacing with third-party building management systems.
Powered by PoE technology, the MC4-R-I eliminates the need for a local power supply. Versatile mounting options include wall, ceiling, or flat surface installations, making it ideal for single-room systems. It can also be rack-mounted using the included rack ears or attached to a single rack rail.
