Real-Time 4K60 Video Performance

Encoder Functionality
The DM-NVX-E20-2G provides a single HDMI input, allowing it to connect devices like laptops, cameras, or media players. It then transmits the encoded video over the network to one or more DM NVX decoders, such as the DM-NVX-D20 or DM-NVX-D200. The device is also compatible with other DM NVX products that function as decoders, offering flexibility in network AV designs.
Fixed or Adaptive Bit Rate
The DM-NVX-E20-2G supports both fixed and adaptive bit rate streaming. Users can set a fixed bit rate between 200 Mbps and 950 Mbps, or enable adaptive bit rate, which adjusts automatically based on the input resolution. This ensures efficient use of available bandwidth while maintaining high video quality.
Analog Audio Embedding and Surround Sound
The device features analog audio embedding, allowing a stereo line-level audio input to be combined with the HDMI video stream. It also supports 7.1 surround sound audio, including formats such as Dolby® TrueHD, Dolby Atmos®, and DTS:X®, ensuring high-quality audio in professional AV environments.
AES67 Audio Embedding and De-embedding
AES67 support allows the DM-NVX-E20-2G to transmit and receive 2-channel AES67 audio streams, which can be combined with video signals and output via the primary AV stream. This feature facilitates integration with Crestron DSPs or third-party audio devices.
Copper Ethernet Connectivity and PoE Support
This encoder includes a single RJ-45 1000BASE-T Ethernet port with PoE support, enabling the device to be powered through a PoE Ethernet switch. This reduces the need for additional power supplies and simplifies installation.
Automatic Point-to-Point Connectivity
The DM-NVX-E20-2G can be directly connected to a DM NVX decoder, such as the DM-NVX-D20 or DM-NVX-D200, to enable automatic point-to-point connectivity. When a direct connection is detected, the devices automatically operate in point-to-point mode without requiring additional configuration.
Device Control via CEC
Under the management of a control system, the DM-NVX-E20-2G can control a connected source device via CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) over the HDMI input, potentially eliminating the need for dedicated control cables.
Web-Based Setup and Management
The DM-NVX-E20-2G can be easily configured using its web-based setup interface. It can also be managed centrally through a DM NVX Director virtual switching appliance, which simplifies configuration and control across multiple devices.
Two-Gang Wall Plate Design
