Who We Are
Based in Dublin, Ireland, we are a team of professionals with an obsession for technology, sound and light.
History
Established in 2010 by Daniel Rooney and Elliot Purtill, Formwave originally began as Logic AV, specialising in the installation of high quality audio visual systems. In 2013 we launched our retail brand HifiHut, with the aim of delivering superb quality sound directly to our customers who preferred to do the installation themselves.
Over the years, technologies converged and with it, the scope of our offering expanded. As a result, we determined that rebranding our business was the optimal way to tell that story. In 2020, just in time for our 10th anniversary (and a global pandemic), we renamed the company Formwave Limited, bringing together a team of industry professionals who specialise in cutting edge technology, sound and light systems. At Formwave, we have partnered with market leading companies such as Crestron, Lutron, Control4 and Sony to provide our customers with premium technological ecosystems, audio visual and lighting solutions tailored to individual needs.
Where we work
Based in Ireland, our state of the art facility is located in Dublin 12. We currently manage projects for customers throughout the country and also oversee projects in the UK, Europe and beyond, according to our client’s needs.
