The Lyngdorf D-60 is a high-performance in-wall speaker, perfect for front channels with additional woofers and as surround speakers. Offering the highest power handling, sensitivity, and sound pressure level in the Discreet Series, the D-60 covers frequencies from 22 kHz down to 80 Hz (-3dB). Designed to pair with woofers like the Lyngdorf BW-20 or DW-1 for enhanced bass and LFE, the D-60 is an excellent choice for high-end home theaters, larger rooms, or as a complement to the Lyngdorf LS-1000 line source speakers for a fully immersive audio experience.
Advanced Soft-Dome Tweeter and Enhanced Midrange Drivers
The D-60 features a powerful soft-dome tweeter with a stronger magnet than the D-500, delivering clear, high-definition audio. Two 18 cm / 7-inch aluminum midrange drivers, positioned above and below the tweeter, create optimal sound projection. The drivers, with vented magnets and die-cast baskets, and an inverted surround for a flat speaker front, offer premium sound in a compact, space-efficient design.
Pre-Mounted Enclosure for Consistent Sound Performance
Each D-60 speaker comes with a high-quality MDF pre-mounted enclosure, eliminating the need for additional backboxes or closed cavities. This sturdy enclosure reduces resonance, providing consistent and defined sound quality, no matter the wall type or space behind the wall.
