The Lutron RadioRA 3 In-Line Relay Module switches non-dimmable lighting and small motor loads in-line, behind a ceiling rose, in a void or in a junction box. The module joins the RadioRA 3 system over Lutron's Clear Connect RF, so circuits can be controlled from any Vierti keypad, a Pico remote, the Lutron app, or a programmed scene.

How it works

  • General-purpose wireless switch for the Lutron RadioRA 3 system.
  • Rated for 6 AX of general-purpose lighting (all types).
  • Rated for 2 A / 0.5 HP for motor loads.
  • Neutral required.
  • Lutron Clear Connect Type A wireless at 868 MHz. Works independently of Wi-Fi.
  • Range: within 9 m of a RadioRA 3 processor or wireless repeater. Up to four repeaters can be added per RF link.
  • Remote device association lets the module be added to a system without physically accessing it after installation.

Typical uses

  • Switching non-dimmable LED, fluorescent or incandescent circuits
  • Driving exhaust fans, transformers and small AC motors up to 0.5 HP
  • Adding wireless control to circuits where the wall switch position cannot be replaced
  • Smart control of outdoor lighting, garden circuits or feature lighting without rewiring
