The Lutron HomeWorks QS DMX Control Interface is a versatile solution for integrating DMX512 controlled devices with HomeWorks QS systems. This interface allows HomeWorks QS zones to control DMX channels, providing seamless management of lighting and other DMX-enabled devices. Ideal for applications requiring advanced lighting control, the QSE-CI-DMX supports up to 32 DMX channels per device, offering flexible programming options for single-channel, integration, and RGB/CMY color control.

Wiring and Installation

  • QS Link Wiring: Use IEC PELV/NEC Class 2 wiring, daisy-chain, star, or T-tap configuration
  • DMX512 Link Wiring: Connect to DMX512-controlled equipment with a maximum link length of 1000 ft (305 m)
  • Link terminators required at the beginning and end of the DMX link
  • Data link terminals accept up to two 18 AWG (1.0 mm²) wires

Mounting Options:

  • Panel Mounting: LV14, LV21, or PNL8 enclosures
  • Enclosure Mounting: LUT-5x10-ENC for conduit wiring
  • Rack Mounting: LUT-19AV-1U AV rack for up to four control interfaces
  • Direct Wall Mounting: Mount directly on a wall with sufficient space for cables
