Crestron SolarSync™ GLS-LCCT Outdoor Daylight & Color Temperature Sensor
The Crestron SolarSync™ GLS-LCCT is an outdoor daylight and color temperature sensor designed to measure the true color temperature and intensity of any lighting source.
The Crestron SolarSync™ GLS-LCCT is an outdoor daylight and color temperature sensor designed to measure the true color temperature and intensity of any lighting source.
This sensor enables indoor lighting to be regulated to match actual natural sunlight outdoors, making it ideal for applications such as office buildings, healthcare facilities, public spaces, and more. With its IP67-rated housing and self-heating feature, it ensures reliable operation in various environmental conditions, preventing snow and ice buildup.
Key Features
Daylight and Color Temperature Sensing
The GLS-LCCT measures the exact correlated color temperature (CCT) and illuminance (lux) of natural daylight and reports it to a Crestron® lighting control system. This allows the control system to adjust indoor RGB lighting fixtures to simulate outdoor lighting conditions. The sensor can also be deployed indoors to sense the light output from artificial lighting sources, ensuring precise adjustment to achieve desired effects or to correlate lighting conditions between separate spaces.
Applications
The ability to adjust both the intensity and color temperature of indoor lighting to specific values can positively influence the circadian rhythms of nighttime workers in an office or manufacturing facility, aid healing patients in medical or psychiatric facilities, and enhance the experience of patrons in public spaces such as malls, museums, casinos, and theme parks.
