Encoder Functionality
The DM-NVX-E10 provides one HDMI input for connecting devices like laptops, cameras, or media players. The encoded video is transmitted over the network to one or more decoders, such as the DM-NVX-D10, making it a flexible option for any DM NVX network AV design.
Fixed or Adaptive Bit Rate
This device supports both fixed and adaptive bit rate streaming. The bit rate can be set manually or automatically adjusted based on the input resolution. This ensures efficient use of available bandwidth while maintaining high video quality.
Analog Audio De-embedding and Surround Sound
The DM-NVX-E10 features analog audio de-embedding, providing a stereo line-level output for local sound systems or soundbars. It also supports 7.1 surround sound audio, including formats like Dolby® TrueHD and DTS:X®, for lossless audio transport.
AES67 Audio Embedding and De-embedding
The device supports AES67 audio embedding and de-embedding, allowing for the transmission and reception of 2-channel AES67 audio streams. This feature is useful for integrating with Crestron DSPs or third-party audio devices.
Copper Ethernet Connectivity and PoE Support
The DM-NVX-E10 includes a single RJ-45 1000BASE-T Ethernet port, which supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows the device to be powered via a PoE Ethernet switch, reducing the need for additional power supplies and simplifying installation.
Automatic Point-to-Point Connectivity
