The Crestron® DIN-1DIMU4 is a versatile 4-channel universal lighting control module designed for both forward and reverse phase dimming. It supports a range of dimmable load types, including 120V and 220-240V electronic and magnetic low-voltage, incandescent, neon/cold cathode, 2-wire dimmable fluorescent, and non-dimmable lighting loads up to 5A per channel, with a total of 10A.
Each channel can auto-detect the connected load type and select the appropriate operating mode, ensuring compatibility with various lighting types. This dimmer module also features phase-synchronous detection circuitry to minimize noise, reduce lamp flicker, and compensate for fluctuations in line voltage and frequency.

The DIN-1DIMU4 includes built-in overcurrent protection to prevent failure due to excessive loading or improper wiring. A primary air-gap relay provides safe servicing and changing of light bulbs by isolating the power when all channels are turned off. Additionally, an override input allows external control to set each channel output to its preset level.
Installation is made easy with the DIN rail mounting design, allowing the module to snap onto a standard DIN rail in a wall mount enclosure. All wiring connections are accessible from the front, and setup controls and indicators are conveniently positioned on the front panel.
