Passive Infrared Occupancy Sensing
The GLS-OIR-C-NS uses a highly sensitive lens to divide the field-of-view into sensor zones. When a person enters or exits a zone, the sensor detects motion and switches the lights on, keeping them on as long as motion is detected. PIR sensing provides reliable motion detection and superior immunity to false triggers from vibrations, inanimate objects, or movement in adjacent corridors. Sensitivity is adjustable for optimal performance.
Walk-Through Mode
This sensor features a Walk-Through mode that detects momentary occupancy and automatically turns off the lights after 90 seconds, reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
Versatile Installation
The GLS-OIR-C-NS is designed for easy installation on drywall or drop tile ceilings. It includes hardware for mounting in a standard 4-inch octagon box or a hole created with the provided cutout template, ensuring a nearly hidden appearance.
Cresnet Option
Cresnet provides a simple solution for configuring and wiring keypads and sensors as part of any complete Crestron system. It serves as the communications backbone for Crestron lighting dimmers, keypads, shades, thermostats, and other devices. Using the optional GLS-SIM Sensor Integration Module, the GLS-OIR-C-NS can become a full-featured Cresnet device.
IR Remote
A variety of parameters can be set using the GLS-REMOTE-ODT/OIR remote (sold separately). This remote eliminates the need for a ladder during setup, allowing the installer to stand underneath the sensor and adjust settings such as sensitivity, timeout, and LEDs.
