The Crestron DIN-8SW8-I is an 8-channel high-voltage switch designed for robust lighting control. This module supports non-dimmable lighting and fan switching, featuring eight isolated digital inputs to trigger events with or without a control system. It is compatible with both 120V and 220-240V applications, handling various load types for versatile installation options.
Key Features
8 channels of power switching
8 voltage-driven isolated digital inputs
120 to 240VAC, 50/60 Hz operation
Override input
Cresnet® wired communications
Setup via front panel or software
Programmable functionality using a Crestron® Control System
9M wide DIN rail mounting
Override Input
The override input allows an external contact closure to momentarily override the control system program, setting each channel output to its preset level. Levels can be adjusted and saved locally from the front panel or remotely via software.
Isolated Local Inputs
The DIN-8SW8-I provides eight isolated local inputs, enabling momentary pushbutton keypads to be used. By default, a momentary voltage applied to each input will toggle the associated relay on/off. The attached Crestron control system can override this behavior, allowing for customized functionality.
DIN Rail Installation
The DIN-8SW8-I is designed for easy installation on a standard DIN rail. Wiring connections are made using screw terminals along the bottom, ensuring accessibility from the front for easy setup and servicing. The front panel remains accessible for controls and indicators when installed in enclosures with 45 mm cutouts.
Cresnet® Wired Communications
The DIN-8SW8-I communicates with a Crestron Control System using the Cresnet control network. It features a pair of Cresnet ports for easy daisy-chaining of multiple DIN Rail Series automation control modules.
